Parents may enjoy stroller strolls at low tide and shaded cafés, yet hot black sand, limited nursing or diaper facilities and hazardous waves shorten safe, comfortable beach time for babies.
Note: Canggu Beach is 48% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Bali for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time for the splash playground, a beach stroll at low tide, and a relaxing break without over-tiring the baby.

It was a nice beach, but nothing particularly special. There are lots of restaurants around, and we did enjoy watching the dogs play, but overall, it was just an average experience.

The beach is really nice, fine sand, good waves and cool gentle breeze. Sunset was breathtaking. BUT there were alot of dogs roaming on the beach and they just pee and poo on it at will. The owners did not bother picking up the poo as well. That ruined the experience for me.

Great experience at Canggu Beach 🌊! I took a surfing lesson for 250,000 IDR for 2 hours 🏄♂️ – great instructor, very good teacher! It is also possible to rent a board alone for only 50,000 IDR. And the sunset here is simply magical 🌅… A must-do in Bali ✨

Sorry, this beach is nothing beautiful but filthy looking sand. We were lucky to catch some sunset despite the cloudy day. The vibe is so so to me despite the loud partying music playing in the background. I think the strong waves would appeal to the surfers out there. I’m sure they would appreciate the beach more than this sis, for sure. 😅😅😅

Winding down at Canggu Beach during sunset was everything I didn’t know I needed. The breeze, the sound of waves, the sky slowly turning gold, it all made me feel calm and present. Love itt!! Even more heartwarming? Seeing volunteers quietly cleaning the beach before sunset. Their care made the moment feel even more meaningful. Grateful for people who protect the beauty we all get to enjoy.
