Older kids can admire the infinity pool and explore shallow rock pools when tides are calm, yet the jagged path, sudden waves, no railings, and no toilets with sinks make supervision tiring.
Note: Angel's Billabong is 40% Kids-Friendly. You may want to consider other Kids-Friendly Things to Do in Bali for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A 2-3 hour visit lets a family explore the tidal pool and nearby viewpoints without tiring young children.
View the natural infinity pool:
Stand above the rock-formed lagoon and admire the clear, mirror-like water at low tide.
Tip: Go at low tide and keep children back from the edge for safety.
Supervised toe-dipping:
Let kids splash in shallow water under adult supervision during low tide.
Tip: Have children wear life jackets and sturdy water shoes on slippery rocks.
Family cliffside photos:
Capture the dramatic cliffs and green-blue inlet as a backdrop for memorable photos.
Tip: Use the warung area as a stable spot for group shots; aim for morning light.
Snack at local warungs:
Enjoy simple Balinese dishes and cold drinks near the car park after exploring.
Tip: Try iced coconut for kids and carry spare change for quick orders.

Angel’s Billabong is an absolute gem on Nusa Penida! It's must visit during high tide. The waves crashing into the natural rock pool create a powerful and mesmerizing scene. While swimming isn’t allowed at high tide, the dramatic ocean views and natural beauty make it totally worth it. It's like watching nature’s own performance. Just make sure to keep a safe distance and wear good shoes—the rocks...

Angels Billabong is a beautiful area with amazing views. The natural looking infinity pool looks okay but the surrounding area is very beautiful. You get really good pictures here.

We visited during high tide, so swimming wasn't safe- but the view was still stunning. Waves crashing into the natural rock pool created a dramatic scene. It's definitely worth a quick stop, especialy if you're also visiting Broken Beach nearby. Be cautious and stick to the viewpoint if the tide is strong.

Must visit for breathtaking views and photos obviously. Please carry an umbrella, sunscreen, cold water and patience. The photo spots are quickly hogged by tour groups. It might help to nudge them. The water blows up high in the windy weather. The rocks could be sharp at times. Please be careful and safe.
