Amazing art collection! Vast collection of amazing arts from all around the world! I was very excited!! I went to the museum when there was an exhibition going on. I think it was ROOTS: 100 years of Walter Spies in Bali! The exhibition was such an eye opener. The message of the artist reached my heart, deeply. Overall experience was great. Interesting contemporary collection of paintings and traditional Balinese paintings. This was my favorite on this visit, very large portrait, photo print image by Dutch artist Ted Van der Hulst. Galleries set in a lovely garden. Complimentary tea/ coffee in the cafe included in ticket. Recommend a visit if you are in Ubud

The Museum at ARMA is a real gem. The art on display is varied and beautifully arranged. In addition, there are many opportunities to linger here. Another big plus is that the area offers you the opportunity to watch artists at work.

Possibly an essential if you are an artist or art lover. 150 000 IDR entry fee includes booklet & tea or coffee. The grounds are stunning & deeply relaxing. There are a number of buildings. Some art blew me away. Mostly paintings are on display. Whilst they are in buildings there is no humidity or other monitoring to perserve these works. Quite sad really.
