The Agia Sofia Square dates back to the Byzantine period and has many emblematic buildings around, some of them being: Hagia Sophia of Thessaloniki, Longos Mansion, Church of the Acheiropoietos etc… It also has plenty of statues including that of Chrysostomos of Smyrna!
