Normally I wouldn’t have taken the cable car but unfortunately the road is closed for maintenance. The price is ridiculously large, therefore a star less. It’s unfortunately the only way down to the boat tours. I wish they had a combination ticket arranged. But staff upstairs were very friendly and at 11 am on Monday it was very quiet, we could walk straight onto a cable car without any waiting. B...

We were there for a cruise and got an early start to the cable car. Tickets are $10 each way. Getting on was no problem as there were few people in line. There are 6 cars and each car holds 6 people. Once at the top there are restrooms, shops and restaurants. Going back down was not so easy. We waited an hour an half. Other options are taking the steps down or riding the donkeys.

Best way to go down to port and come back… expect a long queue because of tourists from cruse ships. Tickets also on costlier side 10 eur per single ride. View is good.

On the way back, it’s either the donkey, the poop steps, or this. The line is the busiest between 2:30pm-5:30pm. Waits up to 90 minutes. Getting in line at 2:45pm, there was probably 500 plus people ahead of me, the wait was approximately 64 minutes into the car. Highly disorganized. Time from start of wait, then tender to the ship is approximately 85 minutes.

Four cruise ships arrived in the same morning. 1.5 hour wait to go up. At around 3 PM, the lineup was three hours to go down. We decided to walk down the stairs which took 30 minutes.
