While on our European cruise we stopped in Santorini. We had a light breakfast at one of the restaurants and I tried the yellow donkey beer. I’m still talking about how good it is and have share my experience with many people on the cruise. We have stopped in other Greek locations and I have not been able to find it anywhere. 😣

Great little brewery, reminds me of Denver 20 years ago before the boom and contraction of craft beer. Greek macro beers are terrible warm weather swill. Drink here instead!

It was a fantastic experience! We had a lot of fun, laughed a lot, and had lovely conversations with the staff. We tried four varieties in total. All of them were delicious, so we bought our favorite, Yellow Donkey, again to take home. 🍻 It was definitely worth a visit.

We arrived just before closing time, but thankfully the two ladies at the brewery were kind enough to still let us buy some beers. The craft beer was really good — if we had more time on the island, we honestly would’ve come back every day to grab some and enjoy it at our place. Great little stop for beer lovers in Santorini!

This brewery is definitely worth a visit! The owner is incredibly friendly and generous, offering samples of their beers for you to try. Plus, the donkey image is absolutely adorable and adds to the charm of the place. It’s a great spot to explore if you’re in the area, but make sure to drink responsibly and avoid driving after your visit!
Ask on arrival about limited-run Donkey series beers; popular batches like White Donkey often sell out early.
