What makes it 44% Baby-Friendly: Ramps help stroller entry, but no changing tables, folded strollers go in luggage hold, and buses lack toilets, making infant care awkward during waits and rides.

Busses are 2 euro per person. The stop at the airport is located right outside the main entrance to the airport. Tickets are bought on the bus itself. The times as of October 2025 are 10.past the hour at the airport. If catching in fira they are on the hour.

The "kind" staff lady who sells the tickets talked to me with these words after asking if the time table was right: "Shut your mouth or I can drop you out here!" Excuse me? If I do customer service like that in my job I would be fired instantly. Especially in front of a whole bus of passengers. If you hate people you should not work the job like you do in a touristic area. It happened today (16/09...

You can go to all beaches and nearly anywhere you want for just 2 euros. Perissa is 2.50 euros. The cheapest way around Santorini in great buses. 👍

Handy bus service on the island. Buses travel right on schedule, easy to catch from a stop. The bus service covers the entire island. The buses are reasonably clean, a bit worn. Prices are up to 2€ maximum per person per ride. Drivers and money collectors speak English and both are very good at their jobs. Buses have cargo space for large luggage as well as overhead bins inside for smaller bags.

Buses are the best mode of transportation to get around the island! Reduce carbon footprint! Keep the island beautiful as it is! Don’t bring your “oh this is so disorganized” mindset! Bus drivers and the conductors are doing their hard job in this hot weather ! Just cooperate! Very efficient services with AC buses! Latest times are in the photos!
Summer months bring crowds and heat—arrive early and carry water. In winter, buses run less often—check timetables in advance.
