Castello City Hotel (solo trip)

The room was very cheap, the breakfast was good and the breakfast room is located on the fifth floor with a lively view of Heraklion and the sea. However, the exterior air con unit was very noisy, there was chewing gum stuck on the floor of our room when we checked in and generally cleanliness was sloppy at best.

Had a wonderful stay! The breakfast bar is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, and the staff is very professional and helpful. Harry was especially helpful and accommodating to our group.

A very pleasant stay. Spacious room. Very complete and varied breakfast. Dining room with a privileged view, with a very pleasant terrace. A special mention for Yiannis (restaurant), super friendly, attentive, professional and a good communicator. Friendly and helpful receptionists.

This was the most disappointing place I have ever stayed. The environment was dusty and gross, with dirty rugs and stained floors throughout. The lobby looked like it hadn't been cleaned or updated since 1969, with broken tiles on the stairs and damaged baseboards.
