The room was slightly outdated in terms of decor, but it still offers a comfortable stay. Room service was excellent with great selection and prompt delivery. Rooms are fine, but nothing outstanding. The place feels like an elevated Ibis rather than a 5-star hotel. Service is too relaxed. From the receptionist adjusting his pants while talking to you, to staff at breakfast chatting about personal matters next to guests. No gym, no wow ambiance. Overall, I would not recommend it.

We had two rooms for my husband and I are our adult children at the NJV Athens Plaza, and the hotel managed to assign us adjoining rooms, which was very convenient.
