Dorian Inn, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western (couple trip)

The roof terrace and the pool are quite fine, the views are ok, but the nearer view is not beautiful, you have to ignore that. The staff makes the hotel in this case. I changed to another hotel after 2 nights there. Traffic is rather loud, even during the night. I didn't feel safe to walk to the hotel after 21h, but with taxi or Uber you're fine.

The rooms feel recently updated and are very comfy, however the road is pretty loud outside (even on the higher floors). The rooftop pool has a strange shape and depth, but generally is a lot of fun and has great views. The problem is the location, the neighborhood is apparently packed with homeless people and is generally considered not the best of areas in Athens.

It's great for the money. We had room on the 10th floor. The lifts could hold 2 people with bags and backpacks only. We couldn't hear road noise which was appreciated but as the room was opposite the lift doors noisy people coming down the stairs from the bar were loud. Lots of spaces to sit and chat or play games outside the rooms. The AC in the rooms isn’t very strong. Had to call the front desk a few times to get it worked on. Great breakfasts in the morning! The stairs are beautiful marble steps, but they are narrow. It’s hard to have people go up and down them at the same time. There is a pool on the top floor with a great view of the acropolis! Had a great stay in the hotel. Service was great. People at the reception are super friendly. The view of the acropolis from the rooftop is mind blowing. Also the swimming pool on the rooftop is equally amazing. Just some minor not-so-great points-> Swimming pool is open from 10 am to 7 pm. Not possible to use the swimming pool early morning or late evening which would be the best time for a tour...
