Casual Kubic Athens (couple trip)

Booked last minute, had instant regret reading comments, but glad I ignored everything. The hotel is in a perfectly fine area of the city, extremely close to all the major attractions, and I did not feel unsafe walking to and from the hotel. Advertises as a 4 star I really don’t think so. I’d give it 2 star. Also advertises a welcome drink on arrival…didn’t get one but did have 1 bottle of water in our room for the both of us to share. Advertises restaurants and bars, however no bar. There is a kiosk right outside the hotel which sells alcohol, cigarettes and snacks. The room is a bit smaller , but the designer made a very good usage of the area , comfortable big size of bed , clean and high knitting of bed sheet, with hard and soft pillows , high pressure shower , you won’t have complaints for the value of money , close to the underground station , you could access to all major attractions easily, a few good bakery cafe around the corners , you will have wond...

The rooms were amazing and clean and spacious for two people. I liked it and the service was good. now is part of Casual Hotels. The location is not bad but no the best, 15-20 mins for the city centre and some other important things like market and other stuff. Recommended!

Very good hotel, with very good adaptations to make the most of the building, given that it is not very new. The room is controlled from a tablet, which sometimes causes confusion or disconnections, but it is not serious. The room is very dark, that can be a problem. The area is difficult, it is the centre of Athens and has some complicated streets around it, but it is manageable.
