Athens One Smart Hotel (solo trip)

It's too bad that a great hotel with great rooms and a wonderful staff has to be in a questionable area of Athens. Definitely not the hotels fault. But if you just use some common sense you will have no problems.

The rooms are very nice, all the staff are lovely, and the free breakfast is also pretty good! The only downside to this hotel is the surrounding area which is a little rough looking and shady. However there is a police station nearby and I was never bothered during my stay here, even when I was out late at night.

Stayed here for 6 nights with my partner, a good hotel if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep at night and be out all day. It was around a 20min walk into the central neighbourhood where all the good restaurants are and a 35min walk to the Acropolis however, there’s buses and the metro only a 5 min walk away. Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel I stayed at this hotel for four days during Easter and was very disappointed.
