Babies are admitted, but parents must leave strollers at the gate, carry the child over uneven, sun-baked rock, and cope without nursing rooms, diaper tables, or much shaded rest space.
Note: Temple of Athena Nike is 45% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Athens for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to reach the temple, take breaks for your baby, and return at a comfortable pace
Use the stroller storage:
Leave your stroller at the supervised storage near the west entrance
Tip: Bring a lightweight stroller; pick it up before you exit the site
Carry baby to the temple:
Use an ergonomic front or backpack carrier to climb the uneven marble steps
Tip: Secure all straps and test balance on flat ground before you proceed
Rest at shaded benches:
Sit on benches just behind the Nike bastion for a snack or nap break
Tip: Pack water and soft snacks; keep baby’s head covered to protect from sun
In summer, visit at opening or after 5 PM to avoid heat. In spring and autumn, late afternoons bring mild light. Winters can be windy—dress in layers.

One of the smaller buildings within the Acropolis, but nevertheless beautiful and standing proudly high above the gate. You cannot get that close or go inside, but good views can be had from the steps. It is also visible from many places in Athens due to its prominent position on the edge of the Acropolis.

The most famous of the acropolises is the Acropolis of Athens, which is today an archaeological reserve with a museum and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful temple located at the Acropolis. The restoration is beautiful. To see the originals of the caryatids (or 5 of 6) you need to go to the Acropolis Museum (1 of 6 is still located at the British Museum still unfortunately). I can imagine how beautiful it would have been it the height of its glory. The view and the marble work are both very impressive.

Slippery. Really slippery surface. From the parking lot, it’s an easy but uphill walk. Got a little congested with visitors at the top, but the ruins are magnificent to experience in person and well worth the effort. Just exercise every caution walking on the slick marble path up&down. Minimal shade, bring water.

Beautiful small temple close to the gate of the Acropolis. You cannot get super close but you can see how well this temple is preserved and the marble looks almost intact. Getting close you need to walk some stairs, not the most friendly for wheelchairs.
