Stavros Niarchos Park (solo trip)

Quite stunning park with lots of families enjoying the sunshine & flat spaces for bikes. The Cafe is very popular with lots of tables outside, more inside & a takeaway area at the front. The pool gives a sense of coolness even on a hot day.

Beautiful park with flawless view over the city of Athens. Great place for walk, jogging, relaxing, picnics, reading a book. Many benches and there is room on the roof and piano in it. Just perfect. Library in the basement and fountain show usually each half an hour.

An architectural milestone and a wonderful park located in Faliron, Athens. The planted olive trees match the environment of Greece and the from this location one has view of the sea. This area is used for events, book reading or simply walking. It is recommended also in summer months especially at night.

Approaching this building from the park in a ‘promenade to a temple’ way is breathtaking. You get to the top almost without realizing how high you are. The view of the acropolis, the coast, and other islands complete the experience. Not to mention the assured sophistication of Piano’s design in the whole building.

An incredibly beautiful park with spectacular views of Athens. Highly recommend as a place to bring your kids. Locals love it and rightly so. The architecture and the landscapeing are truly inspired.
