What makes it 61% Kids-Friendly: Shows like Annie with child actors and English surtitles engage kids 6-12, but the 2-hour run, loud sound, and lack of play or kid toilets lower overall convenience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A single performance plus time for seating, foyer exploration, and a snack fits within 2–3 hours for kids.
Attend a family-friendly musical:
Book a kid-friendly show like Annie with live orchestra and English surtitles.
Tip: Choose seats in rear stalls or dress circle for clear subtitles.
Opt for shorter concerts:
Select concerts under 2 hours with one intermission to keep kids engaged.
Tip: Check runtime details on the theater website before booking.
Explore the Art Deco foyer:
Walk through the two-level foyer to see marble stairs, stained glass, and mosaics.
Tip: Snap family photos on the grand staircase before the show.
Enjoy a snack at the café-bar:
Grab coffee, juice, or light bites in the foyer before intermission.
Tip: Budget €5 per person and arrive early to avoid queues.

Beautifully renovated venue. Easy to buy tickets and reserve seating online. Very helpful staff to direct you to your seats and comfortable seats. The rows are close together so, when someone comes and has a seat in your row, it's a tight squeeze. The show we saw had English subtitles and the accustics in the theatre were superb. An absolutely beautiful venue.

Wonderful space, the seats are very comfy. Friendly staff and there to help. The live orchestra for the play we went all were excellent. I general it is very well organised with many ushers ready to assist.

Very nice theatre , but do not take a car downtown in Athens! Use a taxi and enjoy the evening! There are a few steps to take the lift.

A great evening. Beautifully renovated theatre in the centre of Athens. The production of Alexandria was wonderful & a joy to watch. Surtitles were used in English to help with an international crowd.

A gem 💎 in the heart of Athens , best place ever for music 🎶 concerts & other theatrical performances & events
In summer, choose evening performances to enjoy the air-conditioned theater. During winter holidays, look for special family matinées on weekends.
