⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful museum with a unique atmosphere! We really enjoyed our visit — the combination of contemporary art and the archaeological ruins beneath the building is truly impressive. The space is modern, clean, and beautifully organized. No waiting time, and the experience was calm and inspiring. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Athens!

The current exhibition "Why look at the animals" is pretty impressing, the area is big, spacious, it has been designed well, it may take a long time to see all of the works but there are spaces to have little rests, I would recommend to experience.

I loved this Museum! It resembles Tate Modern. The staff are helpful and smiling. The restaurant at the top floor has a stunning view to the Acropolis and the food was great. The exhibitions are avant-garde.

Nice museum. The temporary exhibition "Why Look at Animals?" is an interesting approach to the humanity's stance towards animals. Worth a visit. Ticket costs 10 euros and you can reuse ir for the next 30 days. The restaurant on the top floor offers nice views of Acropolis.
In summer, visit early when galleries are coolest and less crowded. In winter, choose weekday mornings to avoid weekend events.
