Unexpected spot for a fine museum. We found it by taking a wrong turn walking from the grocery store. Of course. We had to go back. The museum has sculptures, discovered in Piraeus and from the wider coastal area. They date from the Bronze Age to Roman times.

Beautiful theater! The best "old" theater in Greece. Relatively recently renovated it is a jewel in the area of Pireus. We saw Merde which was a very good performance! Definitely recommend catching a show. It's worth visiting this theater. Note that there are also boxes which must be a nice experience altogether.

A staple of neoclassical architecture in the city, the Municipal Theater of Pireaus is a sight to behold. I wish the same thing could be said about the building right next to it...

Impressive little theatre with a neoclassical exterior and an Italian style interior. Most productions are in Greek. There’s a nice bistro inside, but be sure to book as it can get very busy around performance hours.
