What makes it 66% Baby-Friendly: Smooth stroller paths and shaded benches suit infants, but there is no changing table, no nursing room and only basic toilets, making visits doable yet moderately inconvenient for caregivers.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to stroll, rest, feed and enjoy light snacks without tiring your baby.
Stroll on paved loops:
Follow the smooth 500 m and 800 m paths for an easy push.
Tip: Stay on the inner loop for quicker circuits and watch for shady sections.
Rest by ornamental fountains:
Use nearby benches for feeding or napping breaks.
Tip: Choose benches under pines to stay cool and keep an eye on the playground.
Grab baby snacks at the kiosk:
Buy bottled water and light snacks on site.
Tip: Confirm availability of warm water if your baby needs it; carry small change.
Coffee break at Café Alsos:
Enjoy espresso or a pastry in the indoor café.
Tip: Ask for a high chair in advance; opening hours 08:00–22:00.

Recommended for walking, jogging, calisthenics and playgrounds activities and kids parties. Could be more organized and attended.

Trendy part from what could see, worth going there & chilling. My opinion only, most parts where I have gone all these places could do with some modernisation & cleaning around the areas. I love the areas, though it annoys me that the surroundings could do with a thorough clean etc

It’s not a huge park! Athens does not have huge parks like other European capitals. However this small park in Nea Smirni is an oasis for the area! Attracts many people for waking any light exercising! It also accommodates various cultural events during summer months !
Summer can get hot by midday—visit early or late. Spring and autumn offer mild weather and fewer crowds. Open-air concerts run June–July; check the park’s events calendar.
