What makes it 77% Baby-Friendly: Pushchair and carrier loans plus a changing table aid parents, yet stairs, narrow thresholds and long indoor viewing can frustrate babies, so limit visit length and ask staff for routes.
Why 1-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This time lets you explore two museums, stroll the courtyard, and use baby-care facilities without rushing.
Stroll the courtyard and terrace:
Walk the paved courtyard and step onto the River Ill terrace for fresh air.
Tip: Bring your baby carrier to navigate narrow doorways and capture family photos.
Visit Musée des Arts Décoratifs:
See the restored 18th-century staterooms and Hannong porcelain collection.
Tip: Borrow a stroller or folding stool at the ticket desk to move easily between rooms.
Explore Musée Archéologique:
Follow the discovery trail with interactive displays in the basement.
Tip: Pick up the free activity booklet to engage older children; baby can nap in the stroller.
Claim baby-care services:
Use the changing table, baby carrier loan, and pushchair service in the toilets.
Tip: Ask for items at reception on arrival to ensure availability.

This is basically 3 museums, on 3 different floors. The day pass would be best if you want to see more than 2 museums. There was also a temporary exhibition. It was amazing to see, but I wish there was an audio guide or a guided tour. There was a written guide which was nice, but it would be much better if you could walk and listen. Also the layout of the museums were a bit confusing. In some ro...

The museum is definitely worth a visit! We visited the museum on the first Sunday of the month, so the entrance was free. Not only can you walk trough the furnished old palace rooms, but there also is an exhibition with artefacts from times up to the Stone Age! Really impressive! And on top, the staff was really friendly.

The sunlight reflects on the paintings too much and in a professional way the lights ne...
