Splendid Hotel Paris (solo trip)

Staff were helpful and friendly. I rarely give a 5 star rating so this says a lot. My only negative of this hotel is the elevator. I realize this is a quaint, character hotel however the elevator only went to floors 2,4,and 6. We were on the 3rd floor so had to drag our luggage up to 1 take the elevator to 4 and then drag it down to 3. We had heavy luggage and we are seniors. My comments are not a...

We stayed here for the Eiffel Tower view - 100% worth it. Amazing to see it sparkle at night and cute little balcony for daytime viewing. Room was small but comfy. Team was great, quick at replying to messages via Expedia and very friendly. We missed our first flight so missed our first night and the receptionist gave us complimentary breakfast which was sweet. Quite central location, walkable to most attractions and has a couple of metro stations very close. The staff were very friendly and extremely nice and cheerful. The breakfast was also fresh and tasteful, though the spread was basic. Loved the fresh warm croissants. Rooms were clean and they also had a small cafe downstairs. Nice cafes close by.

Although the rooms are small and there is t a fridge we absolutely loved staying here. The view of the Eiffel Tower from our little balcony was stunning. It was in a great location. Close to a train stop. The staff were so friendly and so helpful. Adjacent the train stop we stumbled across a terrific market that goes for ages. So much to look at. Would highly recommend
