Hotel Victoria (with kids)

Surrounded by fantastic shops and beautiful buildings, not far from metro or larger train stations a very walkable home base for those who like to see towns on foot, we felt welcome and at home after 24 hours of nonstop travelling to arrive. A nice simple Parisian room well suited for us. Merci

Room was very small but clean, needs more pillows on the beds though. For the price could do better, probably. It’s alright. The hallway smelled like soap so that was not bad. We did not like the room we got and asked if they had another one, their answer was no, this is the best room they had. Fantastic hotel for the price and location. Not quite sure what some people expect but my wife and I had a great stay. It’s a busy part of town so bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise (though we slept without them and had the windows open and had no issues). Very bad choice of hotel. It is very noisy outside all night and you can't sleep. Until about 3-4:00 someone is shouting outside and then the trucks come to collect the garbage. The shower in the bathroom is at a height of about 1.30 - 1.40m and to use it you have to be no taller than 1.20m.
