Hotel Hor les Lumières (couple trip)

Never again. The room was small and damp, with a leaking roof. There were mould all around the room. It looked nothing like the pictures online. The only positive was that the staff were nice, but unfortunately, that couldn’t make up for the poor condition of the room. They only gave us 2 bottles of water for our 5 night stay. We were very disappointed with our stay. As soon as we arrived, the front desk gentleman was quite rude. Although the other staff were very friendly. Our room looked very different from the pictures. It was smaller and the hotel had more of a hostel feel. The sheets had spots on them and there was mold on the ceiling and in the shower. Everything just felt a little grimy and worn. Room was fairly standard but was as advertised. Staff were really welcoming and helpful but the location of the place was easily the most attractive thing. Walking distance from a lot of things and also extremely close to several stations.

The staff was really kind. However I asked for the most quiet room in the hotel weeks before arrival and I got a very loud room near the reception. I could hear every single word that was said in the reception! I was not able to switch rooms. They were so kind to buy soy milk for breakfast because I’m vegan, however being charged €13 for one bowl of soymilk with oats is expensive and not okay. I ...

Very nice and perfect stay. Brahim has been a very kind host and all employees I interacted with, were very also kind and facilitating. It was my second time I came to your hotel, and I felt very welcome and 'at home', so thank you so much, and congratulations for the excellent work.
