I stayed at Hôtel de Paris Opéra and found the experience below expectations. Most of the front office staff came across as unhelpful and unfriendly, with only one or two exceptions who showed genuine courtesy. The shorn-headed man with a light bread at the counter was not just rude to us, but to almost everyone else we saw. Our bathroom seeped water, had a cracked mirror, and silverfish on the floors. Though the Asian guy and the cleaning ladies were nice and efficient, the hotel and the older staff need either a total overhaul or a dismissal. Please DO NOT STAY here.

I'm not a negative person so find partial negative reviews difficult but necessary. The hotel is very central and close to all the attractions, 1hour walking or there are metros and buses also.
