Hipotel Paris Voltaire Bastille (solo trip)

On one hand the hotel has what is promised - shower, breakfast, hairdryer, fan, radiator, kettle, toiletry, mugs. But it is all very tired and basic. Our hairdryer was held by duck tape, sometimes it misplaced by itself and started to blow air. Good service and wi-fi and a great location and reasonably priced. However, it can be very noisy at night due to traffic and nightlife, be sure to bring earplugs.

I recommend this hotel mainly for its location - very close to the metro. Also, at least in my room, there is a lovely balcony. The facilities are basic, but given the price, this is okay to me. However, if you are a sensitive person (like me), do bring ear plugs and sleeping pills…there are all kinds of noises to keep you alive at night.

Great place with awesome location, amazing and helpful staff. Only thing that would be negative is the price. It is a bit to high.

Stayed one night for ~100e, one person in twin room. Friendly staff (including extras like finding an adaptor and overnight concierge) Clean room which was good size (double twin) Small lift but to be expected given location. Bathroom tiny but functional and clean From my stay does not deserve the previous poor reviews - expectations were met (and beyond)
