How Kids-Friendly is Stade de France?

View Map

What makes it 60% Kids-Friendly: School-age children enjoy walking the players’ tunnel and museum, and discounted family tickets help; yet steep stairs, loud decibels, and no on-site play areas reduce comfort.

Positives:

  • Engaging for all ages: The guided tour combines sports history and hands-on access to keep kids and adults interested.
  • Easy to reach: RER B train stops at La Plaine–Stade de France, just minutes from the main entrance.

Challenges:

  • Long walking tour: The 1.5 h tour covers over 1 km; young children may tire without breaks.
  • Security checks: Expect bag inspections and lines at peak times; arrive 30 min early.

The atmosphere was spectacular and the French crowd was so vocal and supportive of their team. The best stadium I've had the fortune to visit. Alcohol not being sold during a sporting event was definitely a massive improvement over other stadiums.

The year is 2023. Quarterfinals of the Rugby World Cup. France vs my home country South Africa. The stadium and check in experience was smooth and pain free. Friendly staff that was helpful. Little to no english speakers but it is to be understood. People was definitely not friendly afterward the final whistle coz we beat them by 1 point to advance to the semifinals. Great location and easily ac...

Took my two girls to see Stray Kids and was pleasantly surprised by how well organized the venue was. Everything is clearly marked so we knew exactly which entrance to go to. There was no line even thought we were there within the hour of the performance. The staff were very helpful and approachable. I had sent my girls their tickets and had them enter first. And when it was my turn, my ticket kep...

It was my first experience of visiting such a large stadium and it was incredible. Linkin Park's concert was great! The toilets and water stands were easy to get to. During the show, security poured water for people in the front rows and there were fans running, so in the intense heat it was comfortable to jump around to your favorite songs.

A grand and seamless experience!!! Attending the Imagine Dragons concert at Stade de France was nothing short of spectacular! The venue’s architecture is a visual masterpiece, and the organization was impeccable; everything ran like clockwork. Even with massive crowds, entering and exiting via the metro was surprisingly smooth, both before and after the event. From the electrifying atmosphere to...

When is the best time to visit Stade de France (Paris, France)?

Summer concert nights light up the esplanade with food trucks – great for an early picnic; winter tours run year-round but bring warm layers for chilly wind on the stands.
