What makes it 49% Baby-Friendly: Umbrella strollers reach only nave and crypt, no nursing or changing room is listed, many stairs block the terrace, and no cloakroom exists, making the outing feasible but inconvenient with a baby.
Note: Pantheon is 49% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Paris for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Gives time to see the nave, crypt and rest without rushing your baby.
Watch the Foucault Pendulum:
See the pendulum swing under the dome floor.
Tip: Stand near the railing in the nave for a clear view; use a baby carrier to keep hands free.
Explore the crypt:
Walk through crypt corridors to view tombs of Voltaire, Marie Curie and Victor Hugo.
Tip: Push a narrow stroller on ramp areas; mind low lighting and narrow aisles.
Rest at benches and cane seats:
Use seating scattered in the nave and crypt for baby feeds or breaks.
Tip: Grab a folding ’cane seat’ near a pillar for quick rests.

Pantheon is an incredible mausoleum unlike any I’ve seen before. You truly have to be inside it grasp its scale and grandeur. The architecture, artworks and sculptures are definitely worth seeing not to mention the crypt of distinguished French citizens such as Rousseau and Voltaire. The line to get a ticket was fairly large and it moved very slow so I definitely recommend getting a ticket in adva...

The Panthéon was truly impressive. It wasn’t crowded, which made the visit very enjoyable. Inside, it’s fascinating to see the tombs of great figures like Victor Hugo, Voltaire, Rousseau, and Marie Curie. The grand dome and frescoes are breathtaking, and Foucault’s Pendulum is a highlight – a simple yet powerful demonstration of Earth’s rotation. Unfortunately, the terrace was temporarily closed –...

Sizable place. Beautiful building. I liked how there were multiple themes going on with the art. (Christianity, Genevieve, etc) The crypt is interesting because there are many famous/important historical figures in there. But all the crypts are the same/redone. The rooftop was closed.on my day.

Just beautiful! The murals on the walls are exceptional, the space awe inspiring, and the tombs a sobering reminder of some of the great people that helped form the French identity. It truly was a special experience, informative, and a nice pause from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I saw the Pantheon from the outside, and sat there for some time in the square in front of it. You can catch a beautiful glimpse of the Eiffel Tower and the cityscape. I was there on a windy afternoon, so your experience may vary, but I had a really calm and peaceful pause here before moving onto the more bustling streets of Paris🗼
Arrive before midday in spring and summer to avoid tour groups and ease stroller movement.
