Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly grounds: Gardens and park paths welcome pushchairs; fold only in tight palace rooms.
  • Free baby-changing stations: Locate changing tables in toilets across palace, gardens and Trianon palaces.
  • Complimentary baby life jackets: Available at boat rental—just ask for a free infant vest.

Challenges:

  • Narrow palace passages: Staff may ask you to fold strollers in busy rooms and carry your child.
  • No dedicated nursing room: Use toilet stalls with changing tables for privacy when feeding.
  • Long walking distances: The estate is vast—plan frequent rest breaks to avoid overtiring baby and parents.

We did both a tour of the palace and the night fountain show. The palace and grounds are spectacular, and the audio tour was very informative. The gardens and night show were also pretty unbelievable and worth checking out after dark. Just note that there is a lot of walking, and the gardens aren’t necessarily steady ground.

This is one of my favorite places in the world from now. The gardens of the palace are amazing and you can walk and stay here for hours. Also take a talk with friends. On the other side, the palace is an incredible place, the paintings on the wall and the architecture are wonderful. I toon the audio guide and recommend it.

The Palace of Versailles is a breathtakingly beautiful destination that showcases stunning architecture from a bygone era. The highlight of the palace is undoubtedly its magnificent gardens. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as you'll want to explore every inch of the gardens. My husband and I visited during peak season, and it was quite crowded, but it was still an unforgettable experience. My ...

Amazing! Please keep in mind that to get there easily is to buy tickets in advance at least one day. They implemented the hourly schedule to get into the palace itself(for example, 9:30,10:30, 11:30 and so on access). Most likely if you come early , you will get in the morning groups easily. We can around noon without tickets and only could get the tickets to enter the palace at 16:00. It’s not a ...

It is warm in summer, so be prepared. The palace is full, and I mean really full, with paintings, murals, frescoes, statues, busts, baroque furniture, etc. There are so many decorations of everything that there is no way to note it al...
