A fascinating museum showcasing rich stories from across Asia. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, well-organized, and provide a meaningful space for cultural exchange.

Guimet museum showcases the greatness of Sanaatan Dharm, and its impact on the Asian culture. At the main entrance, you are welcomed by the giant four-faced moorti of Bhagwaan Brahma. There are numerous beautiful moortis of Bhagwaan Vishnu, Bhagwaan Shiv, and Bhagwaan Buddh from various parts of Asia - India, Japan, Korea, china etc - on all the floors. The most mesmerizing moorti is on the ground...

The museum itself was brilliant, my kids really enjoyed it. What takes it down a bit, was the rooftop cafe. €17 for a cup of instant noodles, is a ripoff. €121 for four people, food and drinks.

Very interesting and fun museum. It’s good to see how different can bouddha be according to different country. My special favorite would be the flower vase on the 3rd floor. Truly captivating! Staff were also super nice and helpful at the gift shop. I asked for a pair of earrings and she carefully pack the gift bag for me.
Visit on the first sunny spring weekend to see the garden bloom, and plan rooftop visits from June to early October when it’s open daily except Tuesdays.
