I visited Grand Palais during the Paris Photo 2025. It was fabulous and very inspiring. It was a bit hot inside and the ques we too long, especially for the lounge and bathrooms. But I'm not sure if that can be done differently when thousands of people are attending the international photo festival.

What a truly stunning building the Grand Palais is and recently restored too! The roof is a masterpiece in its own right, then the statutes / ornate details outside add even more beauty. In the evening when the glass is lit up then it’s even more wonderful. We didn’t go inside due to time constraints but will definitely be heading on our next visit to Paris.

This is one of those buildings that you have to visit even if you only have a little bit of time in Paris. I was here at the Art Basel so I could only see the inside with the stands, but it was pretty exciting that way as well. If you are near the Grand Palais you should check the Alexander III bridge out as well. Fun Fact: The fencing event of the 2024 Olympics washes held here.

A huge and spectacular building, recently restored and beautifully enhanced. The spaces are bright, spacious, and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed visit. The exhibition is truly enjoyable, featuring original and playful works that can capture the attention even of those who aren’t art experts. An interesting and well-organized experience — highly recommended!

The standout highlight was without question the live drumming performance—absolutely fantastic, vibrant, and full of energy. That, along with the impressive central artwork, gave a glimpse of the grandeur the place could offer. But beyond that, everything else felt lackluster, ...
In winter (Dec–Feb), ice skating sessions run under the glass dome. In spring and summer, check for outdoor exhibitions and evening events along the nave.
