Novotel Nice Centre Vieux-Nice (couple trip)

The hotel is located a bit farther from the center and the seaside but still walking distance through a gorgeous park - Promenade du Paillon, so for us it worked great. The hotel seems to be a little dated but some rooms and floors look refreshed and seem to be renovated so if you have a chance to stay on the 6th floor, go for it. Breakfasts ok, good choices each day, good coffee and tea. Overall ...

Staff are super friendly which bumps up the rating. Pool was closed for our entire stay which was disappointing. Breakfast was acceptable, there could have been more choices on the cooked counter and the fruit could’ve been fresher. Rooms were ok, bed was squeaky, walls very thin, but to be expected from a mid-range hotel. Overall happy with our stay

We stayed here as a family of 3 adults. The hotel was in a great location to explore the old town of Nice and all the beautiful attractions. The hotel was great. Good sized rooms with a free water dispenser on each floor being very welcome. The breakfast buffet was of a very good range and quality. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful and the costumer service was excellent. Thank you.

Great location. Easy to walk or take public transport (tram, bus or train). Staff are nice, great buffet breakfast. Roof top pool is a lovely addition, usually quiet with a fantastic view of city. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit tired and is in need of an update. Stained carpets and scribble on the walls (in our hotel room). I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, welcoming, and beautifully run. The rooms were fresh and spotless, with great air conditioning and a very comfy bed. While the décor could benefit from a slight refurbishment, overall the room was excellent. I especially appreciated the Rituals toiletries — such a nice touch!
