Hotel Saint Gothard (couple trip)

Writing this from my room here at 2am, where I am wide awake because the walls are paper thin and those in the room next to me will not shut up. As other reviews have stated, the location is great - that is all. The room has a bad smell and it’s too loud to sleep if there are inconsiderate people in the room adjacent. The phone to reception in my room was broken.

The rooms are clean and tidy, but quite small and compact. There was a fusty odour in the rooms and corridors. The walls lack soundproofing and had to listen to a lady argue on her phone for 3 hours late at night. There was an issue with bed bugs and myself and wife got ate alive. The property is very close to the train station what is definitely a plus if you are planning to travel around everyday. The hotel is clean and the cleaning ladies change your towels everyday even if u don't ask. The breakfast is just sad and disappointing. Room was so tiny, bathroom almost impossible to move around in. If you’re over 5’2 I wouldn’t recommend. Pillows are super uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin. The only good thing about this hotel is the location is central to major public transportation lines and attractions. The restaurant options are vast and affordable.
