Hôtel Mercure Nice Centre Grimaldi (couple trip)

I had a great stay at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We’d definitely recommend. The location is great, giving a nice balance between the old town and beach, without costing too much. The breakfast was very nice and generous. The staff were very friendly. The room was modern and clean. Ending the night at the rooftop bar was nice. The area was safe with some nice restaurants nearby in case you don’t want to go to the old town.

Our room was okay - definitely a bit small and could use some updating and TLC. The carpet also appeared a bit dirty, but luckily we had brought slippers which we wore in the room. There was air conditioning, but it was not very strong. Staff were great in all areas. Our room had not been cleaned properly, there was trash behind the curtain. The room was dated. The bedside table jutted over the bed meaning you had to remove it to sleep. The air conditioning was old and poor. Breakfast was great, staff were great and the surprise roof top bar was also great.

It was 35’ outside when we first checked into this hotel. We were really happy with its location, so close to food, shopping, the train station and the water front. Even though you are in the heart of the city, the room was very quiet, but very small.
