Hôtel Byakko Nice (couple trip)

We stayed for one night after extending our holiday for an extra day (stayed elsewhere in the first 5 days) and we booked this hotel as it was fairly cheap and convenient to get to from our last location, check in was simple however the noise within the hotel was really difficult to deal with. Good location close to the city center and also to the train station. Hotel offers for free a roof terrace for their customers. Breakfast was amazing. Bed is comfortable, water pressure in the bathroom is strong. Not so quite at night from the street. All hotel employees are very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied and we recommend this hotel in Nice.

Not recommended. Rooms not clean, everything is broken. Last day we ask the Russian lady to order taxi, she recommended his own Russian friend to call. Which one is not right. All stuff is Russians you not feel that this hotel is in Nice.

The hotel staff were very helpful. For a deluxe bedroom the room is quite basic and would have liked some draws to store some of our clothes. The location was fine. Whilst there was no bar we did hope there might be a mini fridge (the Jet 2 room description indicated there might be one) as this would have allowed us to keep a bottle of wine chilled and which we could have used on a couple of occas...

Fantastic location! Friendly and helpful staff! So easy and safe to walk to from Nice-Ville train station, Old Town, beaches, etc. They let you borrow towels for the beach too! Super easy area to navigate and very close to the Cathedral/main drag. Terrific local bakery and pizza place a block or so away. We took the croissants back to our room and ate on our balcony.
