What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Pushchair routes and a changing table make the site doable with a baby, yet no nursing room and dim cave lights or audio may disturb some infants, so stays must be brief and parents need flexibility.

This was a cold thing to see. The prehistoric artifacts were not may but they explained why. They set up a self guided audio that explained everything. The tour was 30mins approx and IT WAS FREE! The staff were very friendly. I would recommend this, but note that if you are not interested to hear everything, this may not be for you as the audio is surround and not individual, so you can just do th...

An unexpected treat. I wasn’t sure what to expect and this turned out more interesting than I thought. We were lucky enough to be there in time for the English tour. There is a fascinating light show that tells the history of the cave and its inhabitants.

Fascinating prehistoric site with a free guided cave tour that’s absolutely worth it! Tours run every 30 minutes, usually on the hour in English and on the half hour in French. The cave itself features impressive visuals and displays that bring its history to life. Inside, the cave feels pleasantly cool and comfortable, I highly recommend it.

Amazing historical place near the center of Nice, a relaxing walk to it from the last train station of the line 2 & 3. The lady and the man who work there are extremely polite and helpful. And the surprising part is that the entrance was free. The tour is audio guided, it lasts for 30 minutes, and the last presentation starts at 17.30 so be sure to check the working hours so you don't miss the op...

Amazing cave on the edge of Nice, overlooking the sea. In the cave, a short presentation details that the cave was occupied in prehistoric times by early humans. The presentation is followed by a short light show, and there is an exhibition centre nearby with more information and a display of archaeological finds. Great way to pass half an hour or so, and it's free!
