What makes it 63% Kids-Friendly: School-age children enter free and can hunt plant markers, yet steep stone steps, unguarded edges and prickly cacti require constant adult supervision and no playground or railings.
Why 1-1.5 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Gives enough time to explore trails, splash area, and viewpoints without rushing.
Castle Ruins Viewpoint:
Climb to the old castle ruins at 429 m for a sweeping sea panorama.
Tip: Hold children’s hands on the stone steps and pause at shaded ledges for breaks.
Botanical Treasure Hunt:
Follow the colored lava-tablet trail to discover cacti and succulents.
Tip: Give kids a simple checklist of plant shapes and names to spot along the way.
Waterfall Grotto Splash:
Let kids splash at the base of the garden’s waterfall fountain.
Tip: Pack water shoes and quick-dry clothes to keep little ones comfortable.
Zen Garden Rest:
Relax on deckchairs under subtropical plants with fine-mist jets.
Tip: Take a short break here between walks to cool off and drink water.

Spectacular views of the sea and the harbour. Very well kept plants and amazing stone sculptures that blend well with the scenery. All areas of the garden are well signposted, also with historical information boards. Well worth the visit and not expensive.

The climb is more impressive than the actual destination. On the way up, you go through a beautiful medieval town on a hillside. You pay more for the views than the gardens. Cost to enter was nine euros for adults. Young adults and children pay less.

A stunning garden with breathtaking views! This place is truly a must-see. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the panoramic views are absolutely unforgettable. For a smoother experience, I recommend buying your entrance tickets at the bottom of the hill—lines can get quite busy at the main entrance. Don’t miss this gem!

Amazing view. For sure worthwhile. But word of advice, there is one ticket machine at the bottom of the hill that everyone lines up for ticket, but there is another machine once you climbed the castle, and also you can buy ticket right at the gate to the garden!!! Don’t waste your time lining up at the bottom of the hill.

Best viewpoint in all Cote d'Azur. It's absolutely worth the climb. It's about 20 minutes and a pretty crowded climb. But once in the top - and paying 8 euros per adult and 6 per teen - the view is breathtaking. 360 views, which are the best in the entire region. The garden is full of cactus from different kinds and it's really nice.
Spring and autumn bring mild weather and full succulents. Start early in summer to avoid midday heat. Winter has fewer crowds but cooler temperatures—check opening times.
