What makes it 68% Baby-Friendly: The lift and smooth paths let a stroller reach most viewpoints, and shady benches help feeding breaks. Lack of baby-changing tables and some steep sections make the outing only moderately convenient.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This gives time to use the lift, stroll the gardens, picnic and rest with the baby without rushing.
Use the free elevator:
Take the lift from Promenade des Anglais up to the park.
Tip: Skip the 300 stairs and keep the stroller rolling during baby’s nap.
Stroll paved garden paths:
Follow wide, level paths through the park gardens.
Tip: Paths suit most strollers; watch for brief step sections.
Picnic in shaded lawns:
Spread a blanket under trees near the old château walls.
Tip: Bring baby food and local snacks from the nearby flower market.
Visit the man-made waterfall:
Feel the mist from the 18th-century cascade.
Tip: Stand on lower rocks so baby can safely touch the cool mist.
Grab a snack at the café:
Buy light meals or drinks at the hilltop kiosk.
Tip: Order a warm bottle or juice; tables overlook the sea.

Quaint little walk up through the narrow corridors bustling with bars and coffee shops, opening up into a scenic and natural path up towards the best birds eye view of Nice, passing by a natural waterfall. A great and easy thing to accomplish while visiting Nice, and a great photo opp.

Wonderful place and totally worth the climb! Tip: go in the morning, the sun hits the hill on the other side. You will get better views and will avoid the crowds. Also, if you go in summer, it's way cooler!

Amazing view point for Nice and a good day out for sure! There is a lift you can take to the top of the hill which definitely improves the accessibility. It is decently busy (but what else would you expect). Upon my visit there was 2 people I encountered who seemed to be a little pushy to get people to take pictures with their Doves in exchange for money.

We reached the top by cart. The road itself is beautiful, the nature and remains that we saw prepared us for the view and the pigeons, wonderful, white ones. The view of the place is fantastic, and a large part of the park is left for children and adults to enjoy freely. A great place to spend the day. The view of the waterfall, from above, leaves an unusual impression. It may take a bit of sandin...

For me, the most stunning place to see while visiting Nice. I could sit here all day and enjoy the fresh breeze from the waterfall and the fantastic panoramic view over the whole Nice Promenade. Don't miss it and watch over for the working hours!
In summer, arrive before 10 AM to avoid heat and crowds. In spring, enjoy blooming flowers by the waterfall. In winter, the park is quieter but paths stay open year-round.
