Premiere Classe Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu (solo trip)

Reception very basic, like a car rental pickup. Worn down lobby, elevators, corridor. I got a family room with little space and a hangover bed. Shower head broken, remote not working, but those got fixed when reported. Otherwise room okay, and good insulation from street noise. Breakfast outside of hotel, pretty good. Location not that good. Too high room rate for the overall standard.

Rooms are small but functional and clean. Air conditioning worked fine once I figured how to use it. Location is ideal if using the train station. I arrived late when most places are closed but reception has a water dispenser to top up bottles and a vending machine. Very clean rooms and accurate description of them on the website! However, the location is a nightmare if you are coming with the car due to the accessibility (if there are roadworks especially).
