Lyon Marriott Hotel Cité Internationale (solo trip)

Quite a lackluster/unimpressive hotel. I booked a suite and upon check in the hotel told me the suite isn’t available - shows general carelessness in service. The balcony door in my room wasn’t able to be fully closed and locked and anyone could theoretically access that balcony. The temperature of the room could not be adjusted - there was just one universal temperature and if you didn’t like it ...

I would only stay here if you have a conference at the conference center. Really convenient for that. Otherwise, I would stay at another property. The housekeeping is really terrible. The rooms are so bare. Just not a very comfortable stay overall. The park behind the hotel is lovely!
