Ibis Lyon Centre Perrache (solo trip)

Second visit. Significant improvement in rooms and meal offerings. Staff were friendly. Location near the George’s restaurant.

tricky policy as they charge you extra 60EUR when checking in to cover potential damages in the room or expenses at the bar. They promise they will refund in 2-3 days. It's 3 weeks now and my 60EUR are still blocked in my account as a pending charge so no refund done yet which turns the room into a very expensive experience for its category

Convenient location. Small room with basic necessities (shower gel, hand soap, TP). Great for no frills business trips; however, only one free outlet available near the desk. Pillows were too flat/soft for my liking. Simple but satisfactory breakfast offerings (croissants, sausages, scrambled eggs, coffee, fruit, etc.).

Rooms, service and location were great. I have only one suggestion for the management, since they have a dining room in some suits, logically they could at least have a small fridge there, or allow room food delivery. On a side note, even cheapest motels in US and Canada always have a small fridge in every room.

The hotel is really lovely, modern and fresh. Rooms were clean, and the staff were all lovely. We had drinks and food in the bar. The food wasn't the best, but it was okay. Drinks all good but there was only one person on both the bar and reception in the evening, so we didn't end up having drinks very often as we were waiting too long to be served.
