Greet Hotel Lyon Confluence (couple trip)

The Greet hotel is an eclectic experience The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The room was narrow and dark with what looked like black carpet on the ceiling. Poor check in experience, only one lady at the lobby. No recognition of platinum status. This is worse than Ibis. Greet? More like busy! Poor experience. Won’t recommend. Room layout is bad. Great location with access to all train and tram services and almost next door to Brasserie Georges, if that‘s your cup of tea. Great breakfast, lots of facilities for kids, and, above all, part of the restaurant/jazz club “Mlle Simone” which puts on frequent jazz combos several times a week in very cool surroundings. And quite reasonable out of season.

We had a lovely three nights here. Compact room but perfect and so clean! No issues at all. Gluten free bread available on request at breakfast. Staff lovely and helpful. Convenient location, perfectly ok area by a main station (tram, metro, flixbus).

The staff was absolutely horrible. They were rude and completely indifferent when a serious issue occurred. Cars parked on the street right in front of the hotel had their windows smashed and belongings stolen. The hotel staff didn’t care at all.
