Boscolo Lyon Hotel & Spa (with baby)

This was our second time staying in this hotel. We came back because the first time, we enjoyed our stay - we had a lovely spacious room on the top floor and we experienced a good level of service. Unfortunately this visit has made us not want to come back ever again. We arrived by car, and the staff said they would take care of parking it promptly. Yet, 45 minutes later the car was still outside ...

Having a meeting with someone staying at the hotel, I didn't want to take a taxi, so I asked at reception if they had a driver available. The receptionist called a very unpleasant one, dressed completely unprofessionally for a private driver, and who refused to give me a bill , surprising coming from this hotel. I do not recommend this service at the Boscolo

The rooms are a bit kitsch but very clean and beautiful, and the location is truly amazing. However, while the hotel presents itself as 5 stars, it doesn’t quite deliver. Had a great 5D4N stay in this hotel which is located in the city centre surrounded by restaurants and shopping places. It’s very easy to walk to vieux Lyon and access the metro station. The staff are really friendly and the place is very stylish and comfortable. The only thing is the bathroom is a bit small which I cannot hold any clothing inside.
