70%Kids-Friendly

Positives:

  • Stroller access available: Elevator on avenue Général Frère serves all levels, making pram access easy.
  • Supervised cloakroom: Leave coats, bags or a folded pushchair free of charge under staff supervision.

Challenges:

  • Age recommendations: Most family shows start at age 5; a 3-year-old may not meet the age policy or may lose interest.
  • Fixed seating: Grande Salle has fixed rows without booster or high-chair options; small children sit on laps.

This place is totally beyond my imagination. Far from the center, you walk through the parking lot to arrive. A lovely, modern dance theatre. The leg room is a little small, and fold out seats in the aisles (common in France) allow for very busy performances, but the views are excellent, the stage a good size, and lighting and acoustics make for top quality productions. Well worth a visit.
