What makes it 76% Kids-Friendly: Kidexpo, gaming arenas and a farm-to-plate trail give 4-12-year-olds hands-on fun; low ticket price helps, yet tight aisles and constant supervision needs can exhaust parents after several hours.
This place may be temporarily closed. Please check official sources before visiting.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A half-day visit lets you cover all key kid zones at a relaxed pace without wearing out younger children.
Kidexpo Crafting Zone:
Join hands-on workshops in science experiments and seasonal DIY crafts.
Tip: Head to the chocolate-egg workshop early to secure a spot before it fills up.
Animation Studio Expo:
Explore interactive stations where kids learn simple animation techniques.
Tip: Encourage children to draw flipbook frames in the mini studio and watch them come to life.
Gones Games Arcade:
Play family-friendly console games and retro arcades with staff-supervised tournaments.
Tip: Ask about the daily mini-tournament schedule and arrive 10 minutes before start time.
Farm-to-Plate Trail:
Follow a child-friendly path to taste local cheeses, honey, and meet mini farm mascots.
Tip: Save the honey tasting for last to keep kids excited, and let them ask farmers about the animals.
INNOVA’Lyon Tech Demos:
Test kid-oriented gadgets like educational robots and VR experiences.
Tip: Visit the VR corner in the afternoon when it tends to be quieter for shorter lines.

Equita Lyon is one of the bests and very well-organised horse shows all over the world. French people should be proud of it.

To small....if it wasn't for the Asian expositors, it wouldn't have purpose to exist except maybe for the locan/North African market.

A great event location. Plenty of facilities, all clean and tidy.
The fair runs in late March indoors, so wear layers for the walk to the tram. Weekday mornings are quieter than weekends for all exhibits.
