What makes it 49% Kids-Friendly: Children 5–12 may enter pools with an adult but pay full price, cannot use saunas or classes, no slides or play area, and parents must supervise nonstop, so fun is limited yet possible.
Note: Caliceo is 49% Kids-Friendly. You may want to consider other Kids-Friendly Things to Do in Lyon for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A 2-hour Pass covers key pools and jacuzzis without tiring younger children.
Indoor & outdoor jacuzzis:
Soak together in warm water pools with massaging jets and bubble benches.
Tip: Head outside on cool mornings for extra steam and quieter pools.
Warm cascades and geysers:
Let kids play under gentle water flows in shallow zones (max depth 1.35 m).
Tip: Bring water-friendly shoes to explore benches and cascades safely.
Family swim circuit:
Use your Pass to hop between pools, warm benches, and fountains.
Tip: Plan a 10-minute break between pools at the changing cabins to stay fresh.

What a joke don’t waste your time going there We paid a 2 hour pass, girl at the desk didn’t tell us that I couldn’t have a swimming short ans it is apparently compulsory in France to wear speedos or tight short and once inside they told me I couldn’t be there with those shorts. Super strict rules, no phone, no swimming short, what kind of place don’t allow that.

Disappointing and Overcrowded I visited Calicéo Spa in Lyon on a Saturday, arriving around 12 PM, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. As soon as we passed by the bathrooms on the way to the pool, we were hit with a strong and disgusting smell—a mix of pee and poo. Not exactly the kind of ambiance you’d expect from a spa that marke...

Great facilities and the environment is quite clean. They even offer a beauty room outsider in case you need to dry your hair and put on make up after finishing the PASS hours. Will definitely revisit it.

Water very warm. Relaxing atmosphere. Just be careful if u have long hair water contains lots of chlorine and dries the hair à lot.

I've gone twice. Once in winter when they do the candle light. The queue was outside but luckily, I already had my access. The spa was crowded, I think we had to wait to get into the sauna. Went again in August when most people are away. Very nice and completely different experience. Pick your time well. I would still go back in winter just for the candles experience 😉
In fall and winter the outdoor pools stay warm and feel extra cozy; in summer arrive by 10 am to beat peak hours.
