See the famous Copenhagen daily Change of Guards Ceremony here. Daily at 1239H but advise to be there by noon to get a good spot. You may take pictures with the guards in watch but please fo not disturb or talk to them. We should respect & not distrub (be a good responsible tourist). The whole ceremony will last about 15mins.

What can I even say! The Royal Changing of Guards at 12 is such a beautiful experience. The music, the small parade that comes so close to the crowd,… Just WOW! I fully recommend a visit to this beautiful place!

We came here with the intention of observing the Changing of the Guards. It starts at 12, so try to be there at 11:30 for a better stand spot. Because lots and lots of people come to see this. Bring hat and sunglasses during summer season. If you are interested in these come otherwise enjoy the castle. You have to buy tickets for the castle and check timing.

From the opulent living quarters and lavish dining halls to the intricately designed courtyards, every corner tells a story of elegance and power. What stood out...
In summer, pair the guard show with an early picnic; in winter, bundle kids in warm layers and hats.
