Givskud Zoo - Zootopia (with baby)

Great zoo, great experience. We did the safari with our rental car, everything went smooth. We’ve been in last week of October and everything went great. One 6 years old, one 4 years old, one 1 year old. We had everything for everyone. Don’t miss the feedings, they are great for children. Too bad we didn’t saw lions, only lionesses. Rhinos, giraffes and gorillas were very impressive.

A wonderful zoo we visited on the last week of August. Especially enjoyed the safari portion of the park which is best experienced by car but they also have safari buses departing at specific times. By car you arrive at parking lots inbetween the safari sections where you can explore on foot before departing on the next leg of the safari. The best zoo I have ever visited. The place is spacious, there is even the possibility to go on a safari by car or local bus. The animals live in a large area and look very good.

I love this place. Everything is well arranged starting with a webpage, where you can find all necessary information. Time flies quickly in the zoo, you can easily spend the whole day there without noticing it.

We had an amazing time at Givskud Zoo – Zootopia! I highly recommend getting the early morning ticket that lets you in at 8:15. You get to help feed the giraffes and rhinos (yes, petting a rhino is a thing!), and even go in and see the lions in their indoor area before the park opens.
