What makes it 77% Baby-Friendly: Level dykes, stroller rental, diaper rooms, and covered battery boats help parents, yet humid weather, boat movement limits, and long distances reduce convenience for infants.
Why 3–4 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a stroller walk, boat ride, tram shuttle and snack break without rushing.
Stroll Fu Dyke:
Walk the 2.3 km level, shaded Fu Dyke path with your stroller.
Tip: Begin here to keep baby cool under tree cover.
Take a battery-boat ride:
Ride a covered electric boat through the Shentankou waterway.
Tip: Choose the 30-minute route for a calm trip safe for infants.
Use the scenic tram shuttle:
Hop on the battery car with your stroller to cover more ground.
Tip: Buy a day-pass for unlimited rides between docks.
Hezhu Street stroll:
Wander the flat, car-free Hezhu Street and sample local snacks.
Tip: Let baby nap in the stroller while you sip tea.

Went there in winter with a guide. A guide is highly recommended for non-Chinese speakers as a lot of the information there is in Chinese. Very expansive park with many canals and a deep history. Also the home of the dragon boat race. If you want less crowding, I would recommend to go in winter. If you want more scenery, go in autumn or spring.

Top ❤️. One of the top places in all China ❤️. Worth the travel, must visit during a trip in East China, for a well-preserved wetland scenery, animals and plants, temples and traditional buildings 😊✨👍

Nice big wetland with canals for boat rides but unfortunately the guides on the boats don’t speak any English. Also where are all the birds? A wetland park like this should be teeming with water birds, but all I have seen so far is one duck and one Herron. Plenty of places to buy food and drinks at the boat piers. Finally if you have difficulty walking the paving of the footpaths is quite uneven.

Xixi national werland Park is really a treasure, it’s a very big park so I walked a lot. The place is tranquil and beautiful and it seems to go back in time. I had fun searching for shrines, little houses and bridges 🌳🦋

It's a very big natural park with greenery & colors. Different types of Trees, Flowers, mini streams pond available. Also mini Tulip festival happens in April. Avery good place to pass a day with Family & kids. Amazing place.
Visit in spring (Mar–May) or autumn (Sep–Nov) for mild weather and lotus blooms. Avoid midday heat in summer and chilly winds in winter.
