If you're taking one ofthe tour boats you have an hour to get off here and go ip the cable car to the top of the mountain. Tickets for adults cost 50rmb (for a two way ticket) and be warned that there are stairs. Lots and lots of stairs. At the top there is a viewing deck and they serve ice cold water. There is also a tea house at the top if you are interested

We were kept at bay by the tour boats the whole way, and only had an hour to visit the island. We had no choice but to take the cable car up the mountain. When we reached the top, the thin mist made the character "公" (gong) look very vivid. Unfortunately, we were short on time and the vendors at the top of the mountain were very noisy, so we turned back disappointed.
