What makes it 89% Couple-Friendly: Flower displays, shaded lanes, tea house breaks, and seasonal plum-blossom walks create a romantic atmosphere for couples, but heavy weekend crowds reduce intimacy somewhat.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: 2–3 hours lets you stroll key gardens, enjoy tea, and take photos without rushing.
Stroll Themed Gardens:
Walk hand-in-hand through the Botany Classification, Bamboo, and Medicinal Gardens.
Tip: Follow paved paths and pause by plant labels to learn about unique species.
View Plum Blossoms at Lingfeng Peak:
Climb to see over 5,000 plum trees bloom in late winter to early spring.
Tip: Arrive early for soft morning light and fewer visitors on the uphill trail.
Afternoon Tea at Tea House:
Sip local tea and sample snacks in the garden’s tea house overlooking bamboo groves.
Tip: Reserve a table around 3 PM to catch golden hour light filtering through leaves.
Picnic by the Mountain and Water Garden:
Spread a blanket on the lawns near the rockery and pond for a private picnic.
Tip: Bring a light blanket and local snacks; shade from nearby pavilions if it gets hot.
Bike Ride in Bamboo Area:
Rent bicycles near the Bamboo Garden to cycle shaded, flat paths.
Tip: Rent for one hour to circle the grove; ask staff for quieter lanes off the main route.

Absolutely beautiful. The water lillies were in full bloom. You can wander around this beautiful garden for hours with all of the lovely paths & walkways. I went in August so it was quite hot, but I went early in the morning so it wasn't too bad in the shade.
Visit in late February–early March for plum blossoms at Lingfeng Peak. Late April brings peonies and magnolias. In summer, come before 10 AM to avoid heat and humidity.
