Cool aquarium here, very well themed , a bit small for the price though as adults are 160CNY , but great exhibits and the areas are clean, wouldn't do again but do it once for sure

My 5 stars is for their STAR Beluga .. it’s massive and so intelligent. First time seeing one in closeup. there are many other attractions also segregated by habitats, it’s not so crowded during weekday. I do find it kinda expensive for a foreigner but you can’t give it a missed for such attraction. It probably take half a day just to cover the aquarium part and don’t forget the zoo (ticket price...

This is better than the Sydney and Auckland Aquarium for sure. I heard the Singapore and Hong Kong Aquarium may be better but never been there. My favorite part is the beginning, they have a river with full of different kind of fishes, many colourful koi or carp, goldfish. Tip!!!!!!!!, buy a ticket for aquarium, so you don't need to buy an extra ticket for the Beijing Zoo. save you some money.
Weekdays have smaller crowds. In summer, indoor areas stay cool; in winter, layers help when moving between zones.
